  1. Yall should have sucked it up and told the customer that you would have had to go into it. It will be back.
  2. ICP sensor screwing with ya? Whats the oils condition? I had one a lil while back that turned out out to be silicone(small pieces) in the pan getting sucked up into the oil pump and base oil pressure was always good. I still have nightmares about that one. An oil pump corrected that issue.
  3. i uploaded 2 pics of the crack in the block to my image gallery.
  4. It was mixing with oil but a very small amount. After thinking about it, if we had dropped the pan after running the engine to operating temp and pressurized the system, we probably would have seen the leak. The oil looked fine when draining it. Its a weird situation. Im gonna try to snap a few pics tomorrow.
  5. He found the culprit today. The block is cracked between the number 1 and 2 cylinders where the oring for the liner seals against the block. The crack goes all the way to the next cylinder.
  6. check your pms Bruce. I appreciate the help guys!
  7. Both coolers have passed a hot and cold pressure tests. The system is not building any pressure. Its just losing/using coolant. Can that article be found on ISIS?
  8. left you a pm. reply back when you get a chance. thanks!

  9. Sorry to bring this back up but are the Maxxforce DT engines having this issue(counterbores) as well? We have a Maxxforce DT in our shop now that is losing coolant and we cannot find a culprit.
  10. Does this pump have the aneroid valve on the rear of the pump? Does it have a secondary filter base? Sounds like a filter base issue.
  11. I just did a Trans in a CF. Removed the engine oil pan and the converter nuts were easily accessible.
  12. If im not mistaken it will only throw a code like that on a KOEO test.
  13. How are ya'll refilling the cooling systems? We have been told that is we have an EGR engine it HAS to be vacuum-filled.
  14. I assume this is an EGR DT correct? If so, more than likely you have a low ICP issue causing the no start condition. Without a scan tool its gonna be hard to verify. check the basics 1st.Does the check engine light illuminate on key on? Fuel pressure should be around 40 psi cranking up to 65 psi. Oil pressure should at least be 20 psi. On the EGR DT low icp could either be blown rail orings, faulty IPR valve or IPR wiring, or a bad HPP. ill post info on how to get dash engine codes. Ive never done it to tell the truth. Ive always had my laptop. hehehe I should have read Bruces post. Its there for dash code retrieval. If you get a 335 code out of the flashes Its unable to build ICP while cranking. Let us know.
  15. WOW. What happend to the old engine? Ive seen International send us running engines before. They took them right off the assembly lines and ship them too us. I bet its around 15k-17k for that engine.
