Stuck oil pressure regulator

Had 250 psi icp pressure, good flow coming out of oil filter housing, perform air test, replaced stc connector, re-test, 0 psi icp

After extended crank, no flow coming from oil filter housing. Removed oil pressure regulator plug, valve stuck, free valve, reinstall spring and plug, icp pressure normal, engine started.

I have had one kind of like yours.  The truck came in with no flow so I removed the low pressure regulator and found it stuck. I re installed it and the truck started.  It was under warranty so I called the hotline and they told me it only sticks from debris.  So I removed the low pressure pump and found damage to the front cover and marks on the pump gears.  I ended up finding a failed lifter, but you said you just replaced the stc fitting.  Did you see if the clip was missing from inside the old stc fitting.
