Keith Browning Posted December 30, 2006 Share Posted December 30, 2006 I remember seeing this in some older trucks like the 7.3L and I recall that all of them had chips plugged into the rear of the modules. All of them had damaged PCM's but I could not tell you what caused the P0603. Faulty chips shorting the circuit board, damaged circuit boards from installation was the explanation given to me.
