IPR Harness Wiring Pigtail Kit?

Does anyone know if a repair pigtail kit exists for the IPR? /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/shrug.gif I really thought there was a service message about this quite a while ago... even called the HotLine but they came up empty too. I know there is a kit for the ICP and EBP sensors and the new kit for the EGR.

I believe that a 7.3 injector connector is the same. Off to sift though my salvaged harnesses. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/rotz.gif

I have a 6.0 IPR repair pigtail in my notes listed as ZTSE 4437-5, also part of Electrical Repair Kit ZTSE 4436. These are SPX/OTC numbers, and I'd bet they're breakout harness pigtails. Call 800-533-6127 for pricing and availability. Beware that SPX/OTC is really bizarre to deal with. If they tell you they can't sell you that PN because you're not an OTC dealer, tell them to check their notes. It says in all ZTSE part numbers that they can sell to anyone with a credit card. They are the most disorganized comapany I've ever dealt with.

Good Luck!

Well, I haven't checked on any of these sources you guys mentioned mostly because doing so would take longer than I have to get the job done and out the door. You know how commercial customers can be.

Any way, I have used all of the IPR connectors from all of the salvaged harnesses I kept around. I remembered that the connectors for the injectors in a 7.3L were the same so I got my hands on a UVH and cut one off for a repair. You will have to swap over the rubber seal and shave off some plastic tabs to allow the seal to seat but otherwise, it's a perfect fit!

If you pull out either a F4TZ9D930K or F81Z9D930AB

these both have connectors on them that will work

without the hassle of trying to find them

Would those be the part numbers for the under valve cover harnesses? The early 7.3 used two per bank and around 1998 they went to one per bank. The obvious difference is that one would have two connectors and the other will have four.

Service bay tip..... any time I change a harness, I scavenge what connectors I can from it. My filing system isn't real good but that "box of junk" has saved my skin many times over....
