It's about time! I really like this. The instrument cluster now displays some much needed and important warning messages.

    [*]Engine oil diluted

    .

    [*]Check Coolant Additive

    .

    [*]Coolant Change Required

    .

    [*]Low Fuel Pressure

Anyone seen the symbol for "Contaminated Diesel Exh Fluid"? Hmmm.....gives a whole new meaning to WIF sensor. I wonder if it's based on specific gravity or buoyancy or who knows what else.

 

Maybe when some Jack ass pisses in the tank, it will be able to tell them how dehydrated they are. LOL. Posted Image

DEF contamination is based on conversion efficiency across the SCR. The system models feedgas NOx and monitors tailpipe. If the conversion eff is too low over a given period of time then it assumes a bad batch of urea. I can't say with any experience how well piss converts NOx, I am sure you guys will figure it out shortly after launch.
