In a recent run-in with a 2006 LCF I discovered that the MAF sensor circuit codes it had were causing the transmission to not shift and default to 5th gear. This occurs without any DTC's set in the TCM as well.  At least I am sure this is what happened. I know I ran into this once before several years ago and thought I had posted about it. Has anybody seen this too? I am pissed that I did not take the time to plug  the MAF back in after I finished with the truck to validate this finding... but I did hold onto the sensor to try it at a later date.
