6.7L Exhaust Manifold Leaks

Oct 30 2017  5541 - 2011-2014 F Super Duty With 6.7L Diesel Engine - Exhaust Noise And/or Odor

Some 2011 – 2014 SuperDuty vehicles equipped with 6.7L Diesel engine may experience an exhaust leak due to broken exhaust manifold studs. New parts have been released to service this condition. Replace the exhaust manifold on the side with a broken stud. On cylinders 1,2,3,5,6 and 7 use stud part number W715713-S431. If replacing the studs on cylinders 4 and/or 8 use stud part number W717172-S900and replace both studs and install new spacers and heat shields on the affectedside(s). Refer to Workshop Manual Section 303-01. Part numbers: Heat shield left side, FC3Z-9Y427-A and DC3Z-9A462-B for the right side. Spacer part numbers: FC3Z- 00810-A. Exhaust manifold part numbers: DC3Z-9430-A (RH) and DC3Z-9431-A (LH). Exhaust Manifold Gaskets: FC3Z-9448-A. Exhaust Manifold Nut: W701706-S430
