Ambient Temperature Sensor Delete

Just curious as to how many of you have had trucks coming in where someone has evidently replaced the passenger mirror with one intended for '08 to '10 model year Super Duties? I've had three in this last month alone. The last two, I managed to sell new mirrors for believe it or not. And yeah it's pretty damn pricey for non-heated, non-power mirrors. You'd whomever replaced these mirrors would have clued in to the wire attached.

I know a guy who did that for his 2014...  I ended up getting him a sensor and pigtail and mounted it inside the passenger door.  The ambient temp is a little off, but not enough to cause any drivability issues.
