Hi, I got 2 bucket trucks from the same company that are complaining of bad sulfur (rotten egg) smell at times. One truck is a 13 other is a 14 one is just under 100k other just over. No codes no running issues I can find. Any ideas?

I have replaced several 6.7L batteries for getting hot, I replace the battery insulator at the same time if needed. So far I have not found any caused by charging system problems.

An odoriferous battery is a bad battery... whatever the cause it needs to be replaced and inspect and service the cables and terminals as needed. Then verify the charging system operation including a scan of all modules for any battery voltage DTC's or charging system codes which are commonly found hiding in the BCM, ACM and heater control module for example... I might want to do that first so I don't lose or cause errant codes. ;)
