We replace injectors like crazy still here. My dealership is all commercial, so with poor maintenance, these things die pretty regularly. EGR Valves are also a biggie from extended idle times most of these trucks see in the field.

By "torque it" I assume you mean hit it with the cordless impact till it stops turning, right?

I have heard we will see them in Nov of '06. My hope is that they are as big a piece of crap as the 6.0L. IF it werent for 6.0L warranty, I'd be starving! Also per a Ford Training instructor, they are working on labor times for cab removal.

I have also heard from instructors here in Texas that cab removal will be necessary for any under valve cover repair

I have heard from several people that the engineering has been done, and that International has several Exp and F-series with the diesel in them running around their plant. One person (FSE) said that we would see them in 07, another has said that we will not see them unless Chev or Dodge also rolls out a small diesel in their 1/2 tons.

I have a 05 f550 2wd in right now with a reverse snap ring that has come out of the groove. Truck has 8900mi on it, and the ring didnt quite cut a hole in the case. Called hotline and they knew of several other instances of 2wd non snowplow trucks having the snap ring come out. They said if the drivers get the trucks stuck and then try to rock them out of the mud, the snap rings will pop out. Sounds like maybe another recall??????

We have 2 computers per group (6 Groups in the shop counting quick service, 4 techs per group), but only half of them are new enough to run online. We have talked with the SM and GM about getting computers for each box, but they are too cheap, and A-Nation corporate won't buy them either.
