It's rare to find a full service island where I live. If gasoline gets into the system, it is usually "Joe Customer" that got it there - one shining start visited me 3 times in 6 months for the same problem..... of course there is always some mitigating circumstance. Strangely, his 03 (AFAIK) still has 8 original injectors.

The enhanced power balance is a good tool. We see -40 during the winter all too regularly and see a lot of cold weather problems. Being able to take fuel strategy away helps avod replacing good injectors and missing bad ones. Checking LOAD and MFDES PIDs can help, too. In a couple of extreme cases I saw 99% load and over 60mg mass fuel desired on a cold motor at idle.

One of our techs just came back from school. We hear 6.8 liters, twin turbos and somewhere around 07 for a release date. Rumour has it that pilot injection will be back...
