  1. Sorry guys I was going on vacation and just need this one done before I left but you guys were right it was a injector I unplugged cylinder number three fired right up. I kick myself in the butt the next day I jest went in plugged everything in ran koeo there was the injector code!!!!
  2. I replace the icp sensor twice install new engine harness swap PCM and no luck
  3. I have a 04 6.0 I have tried everything to diag it but I'm lost this truck will not start with the icp sensor plugged in if u unplug it the engine fires right up lots of power the sec u pug the sensor back in truck stalls any ides guys?
  4. man this thing went on limp mode on me agen today i check the oil and its low but it gave me the code for oil over fill agen but its not but my dpf is done i just been too busy fixing other people trucks i havent't had time to work on my own but i deen to im getting a lot of like back pressure out the intake i can feel it in the throttle and have intake nose
  5. i check my oil first thing today and my oil is low but my dpf needs to be replace any one know a place to sent it out to get clean out?
  6. hey guy im a diesel tech i did what i said ill never do i bought a 6.4. i got a smokeing deal on it had two melted pistons i rebulit the short block and replace one head and rocker arms and injectors i have about 6k on it now and it has never realy felt right i can tell when its in regn i can fell like a sight missand in the last week it set off the check engine light for the dpf being pluged i ceel the light and comes back on with in a few days but today it went in limp mode good thing i always have my ids with me got the code for engine oil over fill i ceel the light and drove home i was checking power balince and my #7 cly is +20 and number 2cly is -20 and fuel trim is +18 and -15 at idel what you guys think i should check?
  7. no smoke runs realy strong just a slight knock at idel i found that i have idm codes for all cly so ima try to find a tester idm is there a posabilty that the idm is leveing the injector open? if i unplug cly 3 the knock is gone
  8. hey guys im working on a 1999 f250 with a 7.3 it has a knocking sound from cly 3 when i unplug the injector noise is gone i replace the injector and no change removed both valve covers seems like all 8 injectors and glow plugs have been replace already but #8 has the same part number ass all the other injectors any ideas of what to check?

  10. i have this 7.3l no start ngs shows up to 2000 psi icp when cranking and rpm about 170. a outside shop replaced ipr valve and fuel pick up pump it sounds at times like its about to start nut never dose its a ambulance with 254696 miles any ideas?

  12. hi I am new to this sight I have a quick question last week at the shop they had a asset student help me out he replaced a egr cooler on a 6.0l after the repair the truck had a miss I checked it out and it went away on its own after a couple of seconds the next day the shop foramen drove the truck and it started to miss check compression and found low compression removed head and found piston damaged a bent valves but one of the intake valves is full of carbon and the other one is not do you think the asset student might have dropped something in there or can a piece of carbon cause damage to the piston?
