  1. Yeah, the Sprinter was an MB thing through and through. That first model Sprinter that we had here first came out in the rest of the world in 1995. It debuted as a Freightliner in North America in 2002, as a Dodge in 2003, and as a Mercedes Benz under the updated platform in 2010. As you can imagine with any German vehicle, there are a lot of electrical gremlins that are hard to diagnose and trace, and parts are enormously expensive. Not to mention, when Dodge loaded the Sprinter into their parts catalogue, they used all of the Mercedes pictures. This may not seem like a big deal, but Mercedes has a unique grouping system like Dodge, and are both totally different. For a small example (there are much worse examples, trust me) if you wanted to find a rear axle seal, you would have to go into the picture with the ABS sensor in it to see a picture of the seal. This picture was grouped in electrical. So glad I don't have to deal with them anymore. 02-06 North American Sprinters get the OM612 2.7L I-5 Diesel. 07+ North American Sprinters get the OM642 3.0L V6 Diesel.
  2. B2520 1 AUTOMOBILES VILLENEUVE AMQUI PQ 418-629-4533 These guys show one, not sure if you checked with them already. Might need to brush up on your French, though.
  3. Don't know if this will be helpful to you guys or not, but through experimentation our mechanics have discovered that the BRS-127 hub seal from the LCF is identical to the BRS-110 for the F-550. We had a situation today where we ran out of 110's and the 127 apparently worked very nicely. If this is a repeat post I apologize, just thought I'd share. Mike
  4. Leon, you might wanna consider looking at the Chrysler minivans too. I know it sounds like a plug, but I hate Chrysler products in general.. They've really stepped their quality game up when it comes to the Caravan. It drives really nice, has a 6-speed, and a 280hp engine. It goes pretty good, and if you're not sure then rent one. Surprisingly enough in the Car & Driver comparo, it beat out both the Toyota Sienna and Nissan Quest, only losing to the Honda Odyssey.
  5. Looked up a Pan for a 2012, and they show both the composite and metal pan in the listing. Composite is BC3Z-6695-A and goes from 02/22/2010 to 11/30/11 Metal is BC3Z-6695-B and is from 11/30/11 on.. Says to use RTV for the gasket on the metal pan?
  6. I wasn't much a fan of Dodge trucks when I worked there, but I really can't fault the 4500/5500.. Magna front axle, Dana Mexico rear axle, AISIN trans. The truck was built tough, and the worst I seen go wrong with them was front axle shafts. Only tranny's we ever did in them were because of oil starvation (case/pan cracks).. Guys in the hotshot business love them because they take a beating unlike the 2500/3500, which would fall apart around the engine.
