  1. Im not sure about the cal number but the concern was caused by the tuner. The customer said he had the "tune" installed on a trial basis and decided he didnt want it. Hes going to try and get his money back from them. What a dumbass. One other issue the "tune" caused-would not accell or downshift after 80 mph. I initially thought the customer had a "my key" programmed and that I was using it, but after replacing the PCM and test driving the truck, I found it was just as fast as it should be.
  2. Ok guys. I sent a message to the hotline along with PCM,TCM,NOX and GPCM filenames and part numbers. They have responded back that the PCM calibration is for a 2011 Superduty which means the PCM has been reflashed by someone other than Ford and that the PCM may not be able to be reflashed with the correct calibration.Oh boy. This ought to be fun! I'll keep you guys updated as it gets better.
  3. Not according to the pid. And I forgot to add-no codes.
  4. Good morning all-Iv'e got a 2012 F350 with a turbo flutter noise. It occurs at 1500 rpm @50 mph uphill.Pids on road test show normal and Im not seeing any wastgate commanded when it happens. It reminds me of the classis gas powered egr "trailer hitching"-the whole truck shakes.I followed tsb #11-12-14.Replaced the turbo and, yes,it still does it. WTF? Anyone had this concern? Professor Brad (Clayton) are you out there?
  5. Got thrown a 04 F350 in need of a oil pan. Its a 4+4 with a manual trans. Does anybody know if the pan can be replaced without removing the trans? I've heard the automatic 6.0 can be jacked up but I'm not sure on the manuals. I was talking to Brad Clayton this afternoon and HE couldn't remember!
  6. Ok so Im a dual path Senior Master who has been avoiding diesel engines for the better part of 30 years. Ive got the cab off of a 08 F350 to replace the oil cooler. I cant get the turbo(s) off.I have the special tool installed, now what?
