snw blue by you
Ok I'll bite. Cat is fed up with changing American emissions standards for on road diesel engines, so they want out, and will concentrate on stationary power source and construction equiptment engines but.... What are they gonna' do when congress goes after those diesel power sources? You know they will, it's only a matter of time. What I don't get about the article is the Cat branded truck, does the market really call for another class 6-8 truck, and really why would you buy a Caterpiller truck with a Navistar built engine. Strange. You could always tell who was serious about their rig when they'd lift the hood and a big yellow monster sat between the frame rails. Ever since I was a tyke, perhaps my all time favorite cliche was "If it's not a Cat, it's a dog"
