Yes, I can see that these new quieter engines can allow us to hear things that we previously couldn't.... Now - if they could only come up with something a little better for the customer that says "....but, HIS engine doesn't make the same noise as mine.... MINE should be as QUIET as HIS...". Guy CLAIMS that after I did (Everett Sinceyoue) the under high-pressure pump harness, the truck and I quote "Sounds like it's got a fucking rod knock" around 1500RPM when the PTO is on. I DID just change the oil, that was only 15,000kms overdue...but I digress. Yeah, there's a little noise in it. Was it there before? I don't know - the truck didn't run when you brought it to me.
