Service Adivsor- no charge diag......

We have this one service advisor that in the past month has released two diesels to customer for no charge.

I ended up not being flagged diag for both of these because the custome declined the repairs.

 

I brought it up to management and they could care less.

 

The same service advisor would blow you off if a 6.0L was to pull up on the drive, You would be having a conversation about a job, he would blow right out of his office to snag the diesel.

 

From now on his is on my $hit list.

Once in a while we get a service advisor like that. When they take too long to sell a job I'll run the truck outside and keep the keys until they decide what to do. That way the truck won't leave without me knowing it and flagging diag time before they get the keys.

Same goes here. I hang onto the keys till I see that it's been paid on my Punch Inquiry screen.
