So, I have this 2010 F350 in my stall with the proverbial P0088 code. Did all my diag and submitted the prior approval for the HP fuel pump.
Usually,if it is too late in the day I pull the cab bolt that same day and finish the rest of the job in the morning.
This time I didn't and backed the truck out of my stall so the bay doors can be closed that night.
I come in the morning all ready to work on the truck and it's GONE!
I was like holy crap, what if I did pull the cab bolts out and the service writer let it go!
Turns out the porters released the wrong vehicle to the customer (used car lot) .
Could you imagine what would happen when the customer pulled out of the dealership?
The cab would have slid off, jamming the steering, killing a few people in the process.
