I can guarantee you there will be no technicians on the jury. I see techs doing stuff and I think in my mind, what if that vehicle got in a wreck? Lawyers can find all sorts of things

The new Explorer is nothing more than a current version of the Taurus X. Don't know why they called it an Explorer.

People are flocking to Toyota and GM dealerships buy up those exact vehicles. Ford hoping to bring those customers in.

I like the Explorer. The Edge has a horrible dash reflection on the winshield.

The 6.0s and the 6.4s really left me bitter. You give 100% to the repair and honestly think you've repaired the vehicle, only to have it come back with a different problem. There have been too many times where I put an injector in a van, only to have another one go out on a road test. And, it don't pay to another one in! Being certified at the dealership ment you get all the crap work, while the noncertified guys are doing all the gravy work. Used to be that the gravy work would sustain you while you tackled all the "tough" jobs. I'll get off my soap box.

No more BS Ford diesels for me. I took a job postion at Land Rover. I've beed a Ford tech for 23+ years and only at two dealerships. I've had enough of Ford's diesels. Pulling cabs etc is not my cup of tea. Anyway. Y'all have fun.

6.7 SSTs for sale on e-bay. LINK

One came in with the vacuum hose off the EGR bypass. Heard they were a few with broken camshafts. Remember the Sick Os were breaking right off the auto convoy?

There's a guy here in the Houston area that recoats the tanks with an industrial epoxy. They run around $250 with an exchange tank.

Usually the it's the base engine oil pump. Excessive clearances will cause the oil to bleed down.

So, I have this 2010 F350 in my stall with the proverbial P0088 code. Did all my diag and submitted the prior approval for the HP fuel pump. Usually,if it is too late in the day I pull the cab bolt that same day and finish the rest of the job in the morning. This time I didn't and backed the truck out of my stall so the bay doors can be closed that night. I come in the morning all ready to work on the truck and it's GONE! I was like holy crap, what if I did pull the cab bolts out and the service writer let it go! Turns out the porters released the wrong vehicle to the customer (used car lot) . Could you imagine what would happen when the customer pulled out of the dealership? The cab would have slid off, jamming the steering, killing a few people in the process.

TSB 10-2-2

There is a TSB for a baffle that you install on the air filter inlet. Water is getting in through the side vent. A wet filter flows poorly.

The 6.7L beer table book is not as good as the previous versions. No wiring scematics or MIL code descriptions.
