Dirty MAF

Afe air filters are absolute crap. They are the worst of all the aftermarket air filters. I have seen all sorts of different brands and types but they take the cake. I always advise customers to remove them when I service their trucks. The 6.4 absolutely hates those filters. Everyone I get has a dpf code in it and then I have to hear how their buddy has one on his truck and it never caused a problem.

Same (on the 6.4s). They cause a problem with the maf sensor (as well as or caused by contamination) and it miss calculates dpf load. I have actually seen two completely plugged dpfs caused by their filters.

Just got an 05 F350 6.0l in with codes p0113 and p1102, removed maf sensor to visually inspect after reading this post, it was dirty, as i moved it around to inspect, found that there was a large amount of water inside. no visual damage to the seal or plastic, first for me.
