lack of heat 6.7

Any one haveing concerns of 6.7 not warming up to operating temp in cold weather.We have had about half a dozen through town thay cooldown at stoplights and olny blow warm air,it is olny on trucks without instance heat systems. Ford is saying concern is normal but cust. don't want to hear that answer.

That's just Ford's way of saying "I don't know why it's doing that, we'll look into it and issue a recall/tsb later."

 

Haven't seen them myself, but then again, I don't live in the frigid cold! Posted Image

So far, the only 6.7 heater complaint I've heard is about window fogging and only on one truck so far.

 

The 6.4 can be a cold hearted pig at low idle. Considering that there is a lot of cold air drawn through the cylinders of an idling diesel and precious little fuel injected to maintain idle.

 

Idle an engine outside in the cold and watch your EGTs....
