  1. Had a 2012 limo bus with around 26000 miles (in less than 6 months) with bearing failure like this, had to pull the engine out the front.... Boy I don't miss these things
  2. you can also take your paystub into your local verizon/at&t/sprint store and they will apply the discount on your account for you that way. the discounts you get vary between the different carriers, but they are all around 20% off the monthly 'access' charges I've had the Ford Dealership Employee discount on my verizon account for the last 4-5 years, I just switched to my new Union Pacific discount with verizon(which is the same as the ford discount) but verizon wanted to 're-verify' my employment, so I had to switch.
  3. This is my brother Jacob talking about his 5 yr old daughter Brisa Buys, who hasn't been seen in over 3 months since he won full custody in a long drawn out custody battle with his ex-wife Lisa Buys/Lisa Badhand. The mother has gone into hiding with the child, last known whereabouts is somewhere in Maine. If you see or hear anything please contact local authorities. FBI is currently investigating/searching for them, Lisa has a warrant out for her arrest. http://www.news10.net/news/article/259907/2/-A-fathers-message-I-just-want-
  4. Or if they drilled the frame for any mounting bolts they may have drilled into the harness, be sure to inspect VERY closely if there is a 'new' bolt near the harness, the drill bit will have gone in and come out of the harness with almost no evidence in most cases. Seen this many times on medium duty trucks.
  5. I thought it was pretty simple, other than the problem I had getting the scenario's to load, tried 5 computers before I found that if I moved the pop up screen for the scenario everything would go from blank to fully loaded, if I just let it sit and wait for it to load it never would....
  6. A change of scenery is in my near future, I've been working on this one for several years now, and it is finally going to pay off. As much as I will miss working 'flat rate', I will be rolling my toolbox into my garage and going to work for Union Pacific Railroad (where they will supply all the tools I could possibly dream of needing) in the next couple of months, after 4 years of trying to get on with them and jumping through all of their hoops, I finally got the job of Diesel Electrician! I just have to wait for them to complete my background check, and a couple medical/physical evaluations. I very much appreciate all the help I have received on this site, you guys are awesome!! I will visit occasionally, but I suspect it won't be nearly as often.
  7. '97 F350 460 - long block installed 800 miles ago at another dealer, getting another long block - cylinder 6 wall is scored bad '12 F550 bus 6.7L - gremlins are trying to escape, pulled the lower pan off and found the thrust bearing in pieces, pulling the engine out the front tommorow '11 F450 - FRP going open and causing the truck to surge - P0087 - ordered an FRP today
  8. All the ones I've had this happen on will shut off the engine and lock out cranking for 1 hour as soon as the truck gets to a full stop, So if you are in traffic and have to stop, it would shut down.
  9. 6.0 Headgaskets 7.3 All Injectors 6.4 Long block 6.7 P0087 6.4 RH up pipe It's about time we got busy this year!!
  10. IIRC it is in programmable parameters/personality on the 6.4l, I've never reset one on a 6.7L, but I've got a 6.7L I have to look at, I'll see what I can find on it.
  11. +1 on the STC fitting, seen it several times. Was even lucky enough to get one that was doing this to blow all the way apart on a road test and die out on my....never to start again until after the repair. At least it was right when I was pulling back into the dealership and I didn't have to sit waiting for a tow truck.
  12. I don't have one in front of me to compare now, but I have compared them a few months back when I was replacing some push rods on a unit with broken rockers, I always like to compare old to new....The old ones are definitely longer. I contacted hotline and they said it was an updated push rod and the shorter length wouldn't affect anything since the hydraulic lifter would take up the slack. They didn't give any more explanation than that.
  13. SIRIUSLY!! I hardly even turn on the radio when I'm driving, I like the quiet solitude I get to enjoy when I'm driving alone.
