Keith Browning Posted June 7, 2005 Share Posted June 7, 2005 I defer to anyone with engine tuner experience: A used Edge Evolution performance tuner that has been used to reprogram a truck that, well, let's say... the tuner will never see the truck again. Wrongway Posted July 3, 2005 Share Posted July 3, 2005 Keith, as long as the stock file from the Evolution was loaded back into the PCM on that same truck, you are good to go. The tuner's work this way: They copy the stock program, store it in the tuner, and upload a performance file into the PCM. To return to stock configuration you must have the same tuner, as it is VIN locked to that PCM, restore the stock program to the truck, and the tuner retrieve's the performance file to be used again and again Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
