Mekanik Posted July 12, 2013 Share Posted July 12, 2013 I'm replacing the transmission on a 2005 Explorer with a 5R55S and the solinoid body connector is stuck in the transmission. My parst department is telling me that not only do I have to get an entire harness, but that is obsolete. Does anyone know of a solution to this problem? Maybe an aftermarket connector? Thanks! What we ended up doing was ordering a 7L2Z-12A581-BA. It's for a 2007 Explorer, but it has the connector I'm after. Keith, We've already run our salvage yards dry of this part.
