lmorris Posted November 6, 2013 Share Posted November 6, 2013 Seen this code twice, never found anything concrete as far as a failed part goes. Code is set when EGT12 is reading below a calculated expected temp. When comparing to reference values, all the EGT sensors are lower than what is listed. There is no explanation as to what is being used to calculate this expected value and why. I replaced EGT12 plus pigtail on one truck to see if the readings would change, they didn't, but the code never reset on both trucks after clearing them.
