84monteman Posted February 22, 2018 Share Posted February 22, 2018 Hi I have a 92 7.3 idi 2wd f350, its actually lower mileage and runs great besides two concerns and completely lost on where to even start, and if they may be related, every once in while engine will stall, while driving go to accelerate and nothing is there no pedal response and rpm drops under 1000 and then stalls, pulled over on side of road and cycled key it cranked for 10 seconds and fired right back off, also when driving 3rd gear has a harsh downshift. where do I even begin? If this thing doesn't have the power it should may be time to rebuild injection pump. Any air leaks in the fuel system will also just cause nothing but problems.
