On FMC Dealer there is a function called New Model Stocking Guide. I check this every month or so, to see what's new and different. It helps avoid some of the problems told here(not that I am perfect-I run out of things or am not prepared sometimes, too). But sometimes our Motorcraft supplier isn't even ready for the new part numbers-we had 6.7 fuel filters on order for TWO MONTHS before we could stock them.

Ok,here's what I come up with.Rear sender, 18 gallon steel tank-ft6z 9275 da $318 list $190 dealer cost. If it's the 19 gallon plastic tank, use f6tz 9275 aa-$358 list and $215 dealer cost. That is pretty cut and dried in my catalog...hope this helped.

Sorry it took so long to respond-was off work for a week. But I show ps72 is definitely for a gas motor, and for a F150 to boot. Let me try and run the VIN and see what i come up with...

Larry, that sounds too good to be true--are they Motorcraft senders? I took a quick peek at my prices, and the only senders that were that cheap were for gas engines. The prices you quoted were dealer cost, too--you must be getting a good deal from them. But as far as Motorcraft senders for a deisel, they are all in the $200 plus range from my FAD.

Not sure 'zactly which bolt you need-but is it perhaps the 14a187 on the 15525 harness? I show that bolt is a 3c3z 14a187-aa. Hope this helps

Most dealerships use a system of parts transfer, where the service dept gets back 50% at the end of the month. If we sell the shop-yes,our best customer-200k in parts for the month, and make 70k in profit, at month's end we transfer 35k back to the service dept. Seems pretty fair to me...everyone profits from the part sale.

Maybe try SIA Electric- siaelectric.com -or 1 800-737-0915. They have saved my butt more than once. I try and talk to Kevin there, but he is not always available. It may be a longshot, but they have rebuilt a few things for me that were obsolete.They may not have a replacement unit for sale, only repair. Turnaround was usually only a day. Good luck

It has been updated to the AB, which is also on backorder-but there is some stock at a few depots, should be able to emergency order the new number for a unit down.

I have run into this several times here with one of our fleet accounts (we are right up the street from ESPN world headquarters, and they have a million buses and trucks). It's never easy, but the Dayco and Gates websites have good listings with clear pictures, maybe you can match something up. You sometimes have to make a bit of a guess, but it may work out--hope this helps.

We have sold several, with a few more on order. Can't keep one on hand for people to take a look at...even if they are only glorified focuses.

I'll chime in late on this one (after you already have your answers). Yes, Mike, that kit works with the new 6379 bolts-not too many people seemed to enjoy buying a $1200 flywheel, so it had to be done. By the way-nice job on coming up with those numbers with microcat-I know some fulltime parts people who couldn't pull that off. Do you have to look up all your own parts, or do you just prefer to be sure yourself?

We have had the kit here for a couple months-done a few employee's cars so far, but no retail jobs. Seems to work pretty well, if you put the time into it. Much cheaper than replacement lamps, anyways...

Does II says 'late engineering change' , use 6C3Z-F. Which is not yet available...But I sure do hope this tank solves the problem, some of our guys are on their third go-round with these damn things.
