  1. I don't know where to get one. I also believe that poor fuel quality is causing a lot of the driveability issues we are seeing on the 6.0l. Especially the problems with the EGR system. I had a truck come in a couple of days ago that had 15,000mi. The EGR valve was almost completely covered with soot. This truck didn't spend a lot of time idling either.
  2. Thanks Doc. I have seen and used that SSM before, but for a different concern. I didn't get a chance to check either one of the trucks that had run out of fuel because they were both from our used car dept. and were out of 3/36. Our UCD is on the cheap side and only fixes what they absolutely have to. I was thinking that it was probably a sending unit concern. I have had a few 03/04 trucks with guages that did strange things because of a bad sending unit.
  3. We have one computer that the shop shares. It is not too hard to get on it. I would like to have a computer at my box and might eventually.
  4. I had the second truck in today that was out of fuel with the guage reading just above the "E". Has anyone else seen this? Both trucks were 04 models.I had an '03 F-250 with a 7.3l and I ran it to below the "E" a couple of times with no problem.
  5. Did the cooler fix it? /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/shrug.gif
  6. I guess I've been lucky so far. I haven't seen a 6.0l Econoline yet and hope I never do.
