  2. I have a customer with a stuck switching valve on the frame rail, according to parts it is no longer available from ford. Picked one up from a local parts house but the lines are way off on connection points and of course you have to order a connector. They say it's a" universal" wondering if you guys have been there before and know of a direct bolt-on aftermarket component that don't require modification of those brittle plastic lines and the rewire job . part number is e9tb-9f271-aa on the actual part thanks for any info ,kevin

  4. I have a 2003 jag with a mil on and codes p0327 p0332 knock sensor codes that reset within a minute without even driving and a reduced power message in cluster. I have limited info around on the jaguars and its a used trade in which the owner thinks is a keeper. Anyone have any experience on these or any pointers ? I don't see any issues with wiring and sensor connectors are clean at sensor and processor. leaning towards a ecu issue but looking for advice from the experts thanks for any help or advice Lincoln tests are way off connectors ect.

  6. It does have the dual tanks with the switching valve. Truck has been sitting awhile also like a year or so just put back in use
  7. Have a 1991 f-250 with a idi non turbo 7.3 liter that keeps blowing the fuel return lines off. I have tried blowing air through the return line to tank and it is free and not clogged up. I have replaced the caps and lines still doing it usually when under load is when it happens or high rpm. Replaced clamps with worm gear style then it split a line so it seems to be getting excessive pressure in the return system. Any ideas or areas u guys have seen cause this? thanks for any replys

Have a 2011 f350 with a code p054e which occurs every third or forth road test.I have ran ppt-m several times with no problem seen.contacted hotline was told the air filter sometimes causes this code but the air filter is clean and correct .Anyone ran into this before or have any pointers?I'm in a small dealer with very few issues so far with the 6.7 other than def fluid issues codes ect thanks for any help

  11. Anyone remember the tsb for these engines where they were flooding and not starting at times? The problem is very infrequent and I have only made it do it once had to put in clear-flood mode to get it to start. Fuel pressure was in spec when tested during concern Any ideas?

I have a 1999 7.3 f-350 drw truck in need of the aft axle fuel tank.the fuel tank is rusty beyond repair and the ford unit parts says is no longer available.What are you guys using for a replacement? i am not having any luck finding a oem style replacement that will work.Anybody know a place or link thank you
  14. High pressure pump was bad,thanks guys it's back on the road.I had never had that before was lost on where to go but oil would come out of feed tube to turbo during air test..

I think that is whats happening bruce,drained the oil and now it dosen't sound like it's leaking into oil(gurgling noise gone) just a air noise from pan.thanks alot guys i'm thinking a valve somewhere in the pump is stuck but i have never seen the insides of one of these pumps but i bet u got a cutaway bruce right.you guys are the best thanks a million.
  16. yes i inspected the orings in the tops of the injectors and have pretty good access to the branch tube with h-p cover removed i swear it sounds like the noise is coming from deeper but i know that the high pressure system is not down there.seems loudest if i take the stethoscope and put the hose as far as i can down behind pump(6 to 8 inches below pump) gear in rear below any high pressure components.it's friday but sometimes i wonder why me lol.dosen't appear to be the normal areas.Anyway a oil valve or something in the block could fail and cause a wierd problem like this or am i just having a bad day and overlooking something but noise dosen't seem to be the normal i see

Got a wierd one i guess,vehicle towed in no start.Checked for codes have a p2291 low icp pressure cranking.did a icp air pressure test and could hear a air noise but couldn't determine location.removed both valve covers dummy plugs ok.Removed the ipr and switched with a good unit even though powering up the valve makes the noise less with no help to problem.Removed high pressure cover checked and replaced stc fitting while i was there.can still hear a noise in the system sounds like its coming from the bottom of the engine.sounds like water boiling.any ideas or things i could check?can access most areas to listen and noise sounds like it's low in engine.and not around pump or in valve covers.vehicle will make around 300 psi high pressure on the icp pid but is a no start of course.thanks for any help guys

  21. having trouble finding the ect pigtail part number anybody been there got any ideas?thanks for any help 2008 6.4 engine ordered one came wrong pigtail
