  3. Thanks for the suggestions.Pulled the thing apart and found the blue oil ring torn.Inspected housing and found that housing was

warped when checked with straight edge.I guess that's what happens when you use junkyard parts.I cleaned the oil cooler tube very well and lubricated with vaseline, which worked well.Re-installed and seems ok.Thanks again.

  4. customer came in with stripped out oil filter.brought junkyard part.romoved oil filter housing and cooler.replaced all four orings.reinstalled.cranked engine and ran fine for 3 minutes then died.found oil in coolant reservior.some people say to lube orings with brake fluid to make parts assemble easier.also,do tubes have to line up exactly the right way.we had to use excessive force to install oil cooler on housing.thanks

  5. Had this vehicle towed in.Tried to start and turned over a couple times.customer says truck was missfiring and he shut off.Would not crank after this.Ran eec test and found missfire on number two cylinder.removed number two injector and spit out tons of fuel from cylinder.Installed new injector and cranked over a few times ,now locked again. Is there a possibility that fuel got in other cylinders?Anyway to remove fuel without removing glow plugs?Has this happened to anyone else?

  6. Had a 08' f350 today towed in.Customer said truck would not crank and tried several times.Truck only has 356 miles.got in truck and cranked right up no problems.Brought in shop and hooked up ids.Got u100 codes for ic,ecm and achm modules.contacted hotline, but they have not seen this concern.Advised to check connections at modules and try to re-create problem.Has anyone seen an issue of this sort?Since truck cranked and ran everytime we returned it to customer.
