The tech found problem in main wiring harness next to left side battery. He replaced harness. in the meantime the cust traded in the truck

when I change filters I remove the top filter first then I install filter but leave the cap off then change the bottom filter cycle key till fuel is about one half inch from top install cap then cycle key once truk starts every time

There is another tech that has a 05 350 that stalls at rondom most time when foot on the brake and sterring wheel turned hard sometime will start back up some times will not replaced ipr no codes icp demand is 500psi than accual load is 99% with sterring wheel turned to stop and foot on brake is that to high? looked at harness relays fuses connectors called hot line said possible hp leak air tested no leaks any ideas cust getting upset Had a napa gold filter changed out same thing

Ididn't know it had a fire ring set on the engine being it was a used truck

I did not want to do it trust me this is not how I roll this is a used truck my ucm bought this truck from a wholesaler all he kept telling me this a nice looking truck. I told him to wholesale it you are getting into trouble but it is a nice truck did't want to pay 13000 for new motor and would not pay 600 for new set of headgaskets. can't say I did't warn him.

well I slamed the truck back together they did not want to pay 600$ for a new gasket set so yes I sprayed some copper gasket spray on the old gasket and new bolts torqued it a little extra runs ok but for how long is anyones guess.

these rings are cut into the block not the head think this is the same there is a dealer in waterbury ct 1/2 hr from work will call them on monday.

took a head off a 04 6.0 friday to replace a rocker box because someone does not know how to screw in a valve cover bolt and Ifound steel rings around the cyl on the block my ? is can I remove and put stock head gaskets back on I think they cut a groove in block to install any help hotline did not know what they were but he taged vin no more warranty for this truck

our numbers were high also on probation for six mouths so now every thing by the book boss wants tsb printed. And if it ant broke don't replace it

2002 550 7.3 with bad fuel tank and oil in fuel took all 8 inj out found one bad oring cust yo pay for all orings and tank not happy esp base care doesn't cover orings good for me 12hrs in my pocket it's good to work on a diesel and not put a w in front of my time on my time card.

sixteen years for me same dealer most everyone at my shop has been there for a very long time we have a realy great service manager.I was the first person to get diesel cert when we switched from lm to ford dealer. I like working on trucks without diesels there would be no work!!!
