Servicing oil cooler during a headgasket repair and found the reservoir for the oil cooler empty. No complaints from customer about hard starting. Truck has been sitting in my stall over the weekend. Suspecting the oring between the pump and block is gone bad. 200,000 km on engine. Anything else to look for? Thanks.

It's a good series, but long. 13 books in total. Plus there is a prequal out also, haven't read that yet. At times it does seem to drag on. There are so many characters that impact the story it can get hard to keep track of everyone. The audio books may be the way to go on this series, you won't get tempted to skip over stuff as I have done in the past.

The truck has around 45000 km and engine hours match KM. Truck is parked everyday in a heated shop. It was on a run up from Red deer, just passing through Leduc and started running rough and smoking, then power dropped right off and he limped it into us at 20 K/Hr. After diag, #7 low compression, pull head and piston is grenaded to the point that you can see the second compression ring. The head is also damaged. We found a split injector tip also, barely visible with out aid. Just over time for Ford warrenty and they denied any assistance. Anyone have an explanation as to what may have caused the concern? I have heard of water getting into the fuel system and splitting the injectors, but this fuel system is spotless.

Like many others, I too have home renovations that slowly get done. Have 2 kids under 11, so they keep me busy. In my free time I get in a little "Pirates of the Caribbean" online gaming fun. The rest of the time we plan our next trip to Disneyworld, which hopefully should be this sept./oct. I can't wait. I also read. Stephen King mostly, currently reading a series by Robert Jordan, Wheel of Time. Currently on book 10, 3 more to go.
