OHNO60 Posted December 7, 2007 Share Posted December 7, 2007 ANY OF YOU GUYS HAVE HEARD OF A BACKLASH ISSUE WITH THE HP PUMPS ON THE 6.4 CAUSING A SOUND SIMILAR TO A FUEL KNOCK? TECH LINE SAID HAD ISSUES ABOUT THIS.TRUCK HAS WHAT SOUNDS LIKE A FUEL KNOCK AND ALL READINGS NORMAL. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

FOR SOME REASON THEY CLAIM THERE HAS BEEN A LARGE NUMBER OF 6.4'S PRE JUNE 2007 WITH THE CONCERN AND ENDED UP BEING THE BACKLASH HP PUMP TO CAM GEAR??? HOTLINE STATES COMMAND HP PRESSURE TO MAX AND LISTEN AT TRANSMISSION. JUST CURIOUS IF YOU GUYS SEEN THIS.
