Steve Mutter Posted January 28, 2021 Share Posted January 28, 2021 I got my first none recall repair done the other day, I had to replace the turbo, it was sticking and over boosting. What do you guys think of these engine to work on? what repairs have you done already ? I am not looking forward to the day I have to replace the high pressure pump, thats nasty. mchan68 Posted January 28, 2021 Share Posted January 28, 2021 The last one I had, had an ongoing problem with the wrench light coming on intermittently. Pinpoint test pointed to replacing the turbo. Turned out, a giant walnut fell down the engine compartment and jammed the turbo VGT actuator rod.
