Fun to watch? Got a noob next to me, and Friday he had a 2011 6.7 to change oil in. When he was getting ready to pull the plug, I was against my bench, every muscle in my body tensed just knowing he was going to get the oil bath.
It needed a clutch and alternator. Theres a promo (Fireball Run) essentially a cross country event to help locating missing children. They were one of the participants. Another participant was our state representative, driving a chamber of commerce vehicle from here (thats where they were recommended to us). They had their own crew (automotive students and the instructor out of New York). My participation was loaning them tools that they didn't have (clutch alignment tool). They worked at night. They were trying to use a trans jack, but the trans was thin. I told the instructor to just have a couple of the big boys that he had to just hoss it out.
Is there any misfire? I just had one that had a shorted coil in #6 injector. ICP plugged in, no start. Unplug it, it starts ok. Plug it in while running, It'd kill it. What the correlation was, I have no idea. But replace the injector, all is OK.
The Network icon on IDS (right side of the screen), on all of our IDSs only display PCM and h/s can. It used to display all modules and all networks and dtcs in each module. Anybody else see this? Hotline isn't any help.
Got a 2012 f450 military ambulance to put in a def tank sender because of the heater. Our shop cant lift it, tank is full, and the brackets are upside down to accomodate the ambulance build. Oh well, bench press it.
Daughter made a program for our dealership that cured the problem of looking for tools. Wierd thing, the local vocational school borrowed that very box this week (they needed that tool too). Minute and a half on the computer locating it.
Just put one in an 08. I was looking at fuel trims after resetting adaptive learning. They were all over the place, up to -19. It ran pretty good for all considered. It shot its wad after 100 miles. Metal debris in the fuel.
