  1. Have I got the motor for you.... 427CI, 220CC AFR heads, roller, 3 stages of plate kit...
  2. LAV-25 when I left on Friday. USMC-25 likely there on Monday.
  3. Spartan SUCKS. S-U-C-K-S. Wouldn't let them put a tuneup on my lawnmower.
  4. It's kinda like a guy who wears a size 8 shoe wearing a size 14 shoe. It fits, but it don't work worth a fuck! The pressure plate they've supplied this go-round actually shows as a cummins 5.9 part. If memory serves me rightly, the rod from the pedal to the master had to be lengthened 1/4" as well as the pushrod from the slave to the release lever had to be lengthened, but I don't remember the measurement.
  5. SBC TH400 205 case, correct(question mark - fuckin keyboard....)
  6. It`s in the blow-up for the picture of the actuator itself, isnt it something wrong with my keyboard messing up my punctuation - that should have a question mark after it.
  7. Sumbitch I HATE it when that happens. But you`re bound to stink the whole insides of the car up with gas fumes anyways, so maybe it was for the better, right Sayin that helps me feel better.
  8. I betcha that thing was ALL fuel in the crankcase by that time
  9. I needed a 36mm one awhile back for an HFCM filter, and the Mac guy sold me the SET cheaper than just the individual socket, and it came with the 32mm GM filter socket as well.
  10. My personal truck does this too, but only when it's cold, i think it clears up around 160 deg eot or so.
  11. I put a dual disc south bend clutch in my buddy's 6.4 Aside from the fact that the throwout bearing and fork they supplied were for the wrong truck, the pressure plate isn't right either, and it's just an all around shitty experience to drive. Swapping in a different pressure plate next week. Had to severely modify hydraulic system to get it to even be driveable.
  12. Pinion angle? Im trying like hell to rememebr what I had on the one I had doing this.... Exact symptom, can't remember cure...
  13. Helllllll no. Goes to a call center outside of Detroit staffed by mostly former technicians. Some guys know what they're doin there, others do not.
  14. 'Cept they dont regenerate at idle, or in PTO mode...
  15. If I'm working, I'm getting paid. Period. Dealer getting paid? Not my problem. I'm producing, you ball-scratching sink fuckers can pay me. They told me that was the way it was going to be? I'd go work elsewhere.
  16. Aaron

    Scenario.

Every body, but skilled trades are within 'average' around here. What guys make where I work now would make most of you throw up. For the amout of actual real work they do.
  17. What is the fuel quality like? If the FRP sensor is jumping around all over the place, I'd have a look at that 15-way connector that comes out of the rockerbox and make sure that thing's all gravy and not contaminated or loose or somethin. Assuming the FRP is under the valve cover like it is on a 6.4 You got all the other particulars to support it running? Proper RPM signal, cranking speed, airflow, etc?
  18. I just saw the notice on FMCDealer. I've changed a bunch of 'em retail, and a couple under 5/100k powertrain. Swapping a converter at high miles is going to start all sorts of "Eversinceyou....changed my torque converter... my trans does...."
  19. I just picked one up, does 1080p at 60fps. Its pretty awesome.
  20. Re submit claim with "See where I checked off "NONE" under modifications, ya dummy? Not modified."
  21. FQR still means Ford Quality Repaint, doesn't it?
  22. "NEC TO HEAT CAB MOUNT BOLTS TO REMOVE, DURING REMOVAL THREADS STRIPPED FROM BOLT. NEC TO REPLACE ALL CAB MOUNT BOLTS WITH NEW STOCK." I seem to recall something about the cage nuts being harder than the bolt thread, causing the bolt threads to go for a shit before the cage nuts did. Mine have anti-seize on them.
  23. This is going back ages on this thread but a friend of mine is working on CARB E/O for his 6.7 DPF-On tuning.
  24. Can delete the ones you've completed or deleted too, do a windows search for part of the VIN, think it's the last 6 or so and it will bring up the log files in a temp folder somewhere. Delete 'em, and good to go. Dont ask why I know how to do this.
  25. How many miles do the hour meter say the truck has?
