  2. Pulling out the engine is the way on the ambulance I'm a cablifter, but on that ... i prefer pulling the engine Mr Chan
  3. I have seen that on a 6.0. Damn this truck makes me crazy I finaly found the EGR cooler was bad by using coolant dye. I road test the truck hard and remove the EGR valve. With black light, i have found coolant presence on the valve. It may be possible on the 6.4 to,but wich one of the 2 is fail ??? Maybe if you try to heat the cooler a bit with the gaz wrench
  4. This is a PITA ... I found a way that a really save headake for me:) Push out the 2 dowel until they are flush with the cover(gasket side). Install the cover and install loosely the monting bolt. I put 2 bolt with 3 washer on each bolt over the dowel. Tighten evenly the cover until it make contact with block, not to tight. Then i push the 2 dowel until they go in the block with the bolt and washer. Torque the cover monting bolt and remove the bolt and washer. The fuel pump gasket will be like you never remove the cover with this way. I have done a tons of these leaker this way with no failure. I do the 6.0 the same way. Just use care whe you push the dowel(use hand tool not air) and you will be fine. Hope you understand me well

  6. First of all, hello to every one here ! My name is Jonathan. What a great idea to do this website Lots of info here WOW ... nice job Thanks to Bruno Wilimek for the link to this web site That's what i do to remove these suckers: Remove the intake elbow and put the elbow in the bench vice. Apply heat to the inside of the EGR valve by the hole where the EGR cooler connect. Apply some force to the EGR valve and it will come out easily. I have done a lot of EGR valve by this way and it works great. I also put some antiseize to the new valve (for the next time ) The puller is a real PIECE OF SHIT ... Please apologize me for my english,i'm a french Ford tech so i will try to do my best to make you understand me well
