There is one more part required to do this installation. Retainer behind plug in bedside BC3Z-14A163-B It's currently on national backorder . Going to mount it with bolts and nuts temporarily.

After seeing picture of Factory Harness, Slid under truck and found Connectors. C431 6 pin with dummy connector installed right above LR Bumpstop taped to harness in frame rail. This powers lighting C432 2 pin with dummy connector installed directly beside charcoal canister taped to harness. This is heavy connector to trailer brakes. R&R Spare to find it. C439 is female bar 7 in bedside for trailer. Looks like setup is plug and play. Thanks All Our local dealer has chased off all their best employees. In every department ! It's a shame. Hired a bunch of kids fresh from collage. Never even picked up a wrench...........

Checked my schematic book last night. Looks like harness has 3 connectors. #1 C439, 7 pin Round Functions Turn, Brake, Running Lts. Etc. [Like Bar 7] Under this connector Also says: Trailer Tow Conn. 14A464 #2 C431 6 Pin Rectangle Functions not specified, Circuit Designation CAT #.. Qualifiers 13A576, 14405 #3 C432 2 Pin Oval, Functions not specified, Circuit Designation CAT and RAT I understand 1&2 maybe #3 has no plug to go into it as DslDoc stated. Maybe someone can explain Circuit Designations to me. Been out of Ford a few years. Some of the abbreviations are a mystery.

I need help finding part number for Goose Neck Jumper Harness that goes inside LR Bedside. As well as bezel with attaching parts. I am adding factory gooseneck hitch. Looks like it fits inline of factory bumper tow connector in parts illustration. Not sure on basic number. Possibly 13a576. Have VIN# of lot truck equipped with gooseneck prep package. Not sure about publishing it on site. Please message me for VIN. if needed. Idiots at local dealer can't find it, Even with VIN. And the truck sitting there on the lot Thanks In Advance! Mike

Gear Ratio Change 2016 F350 4x4
ETS replied to ETS's topic in Driveline: Transmissions, Clutches and Axles
I have seen countless phantom ABS Warnings on Modified Tundras Especially braking and turning down hill. Something I had not considered. Everything is on a network now. Maybe I had better leave this one alone. Someone else also suggested there may be shift point issues. Beginning to miss my 06. -
Gear Ratio Change 2016 F350 4x4
ETS replied to ETS's topic in Driveline: Transmissions, Clutches and Axles
After searching other topics; I find this may not be possible. Found a long thread on wheel/tire size. Maybe taller gears and larger tire? Kind of defeats the purpose! -
Hello All, Long time no see! Just purchased one of the last Reg. Cab Duallies in 4 states. Not too crazy about the new Aluminum Bodies. Want to change from 3:73 to 4:30 gears for mountain towing. Differential modifications are pretty straight forward. My question is; How do I make speedo read correctly afterwards? The old days it was a simple switch of speedo gears in trans. 1 Tooth was 7mph. Asked Shop Forman at local dealer and all I got was a dumb look. He had never done that before. Is there a Reflash Involved? Please excuse me if question is in wrong Forum. Thought it fit best here. Thanks In Advance. Mike

You all are correct as usual, Had time to get it inside today. Fuel filters Dirty, Sediment and Water in primary, Small amount of metal in secondary. Took fuel sample from rail and found substantial amount of metal. Sales Manager denied any further testing after I explained what was happening. Don't think this one is worth buying at any price. Repairs will exceed value of the truck. Thanks Again Saved Me A Major Headache!! Mike

No ticks, Pops, Knocks or Abnormal noises. Fluids all full and clean.

Hello All, Long Time No See, Have 08 F250 4x4 80k, No history available. Clean truck. 5th Wheel hitch. Setting Contribution Codes #2 & #7. Short term fuel trim 16 & 18% Also #3 Short fuel trim 13% but no misfires. [All Lean] Using Solus scanner so tests are limited. Injector test says they are working. No vent out degas. Flat dead miss 2 & 7. No smoke rings out oil cap or exaust. Quick diag. tells me 2 injectors out. 3rd on the way. Any ideas?? What about possible valve problem? My experience with 6.4 is nonexistent. Surfing posts suggests bubbles in fuel system and valve/head troubles? I know #7 is meltdown cylinder from my 6.0 days as well as #2 for 6.4 as I read posts. No way to do compression test at the moment. Looking for adapter. Any help will be greatly appreciated! May be able to pick this truck up cheap. 2 trips to auction with no sale. Thanks in advance, Mike

Had one with plugged catalitic convertor causing very similar symptom. If I remember backpressure sensor reading was really odd. Dropped exaust and catalist was rounded and rotating inside case. Caused intermittent concern. Probably not the case here though. Unless RPM drop to idle is causing low pressure readings.

2001 F450 V-10 Manual Trans. Swap
ETS posted a topic in Driveline: Transmissions, Clutches and Axles
Has anyone tried to swap a 6spd trans where 5spd came out? 2001 F450 V-10 2 wheel drive. Picked up a truck cheap, Trans sounds like a can of marbles. Have 2005 6spd available not sure if trans will swap in. Both 2wd V-10 trucks. Thanks In Advance -
Only one problem.... The Bow Ties. Really Cool stuff though. Like the Cameo Pickup.
