I have one of the two long block part numbers that are on the stop sale list but mine is not on the packing date list. Mine was packed 5 days before. None the less my service writer comes to late today and says Ford Engineering called and asked if the engine we got was installed and the truck was gone. No. It lingers in my shop. Anyhow, they would not elaborate but they said there is a problem with the glow plugs installed in the long block assemblies and will send us a set with details. Here is the odd part of the story.
