Engine oil quantity for a 2023 model year Transit 3.5L Duratec

Okay, something isn't right. We have a 2023 Transit in for an oil change. According to the workshop manual, a 2023 model year Transit equipped with a 3.5L Duratec V6 takes 12 quarts (11.36 litres) of 5W30. Yet, the same model year of Transit equipped with a 3.5L Ecoboost V6 takes only 6.0 quarts (5.7 litres) of 5W30!!! Something can't be right!!! Oh.... and look up those same specs for a 2022 model year Transit with both engines.

yep that's interesting.

Seems like more errors in these manuals lately.

How does one report a problem?

On PTS vin has to be within the last 3 years I think.

when in shop manual say in the engine specs section.

The "Report a problem" button is in the upper right hand corner.
