I got 2012 F450 with 6.7 diesel. Oil leak from front cover area, found leaks coming from vacuum pump and crank seal. Anyway, it is my first attempt on crankshaft seal, I was using front crank seal removal tool, how the heck it is supposed to work? :chinrub2:Yes, I removed the oil slinger first then using the special removal tool but I keep shredding the seal. I gave up using that tool and found other way to removed the seal.Does anybody actually use the seal removal tool successfully?
