  1. That truck ain't gonna last long. The guy that owns it is a hammer head and pulls a four car, that's FOUR (4) car wedge trailer.
  2. It's a pain, but it always has been for me, all the way back to the '91 4.6l which incidently is very close to the 6.0l in many ways.
  3. You forgot "gun totin'" and "beard down to my belly"
  4. Shit if your car cant do 90 mph, dont even go a hundred miles near Alanta. You'll get run over and killed!!
  5. Heard a good one today. A dealer sent a guy out the door with a smoking concern or something like that. The tech pulled a code for speed limit reach or whatever the desciption is and said that speeding down the freeway was causing damage to the truck. I think I've heard it all now. I'm not going to name the dealer but it rhymes with Lord of Scrattleboro.
  6. Yes, the Vulcan 3 liter is a simple procedure for accessing all six spark plugs at home in the front or back yard. (edit for being too far off original topic)
  7. For those of you who don't know....yankees come to the South for a visit, damn yankees come to the South and stay.
  8. He was in the big city and did a little shoppin!
  9. I agree with that statement, if you guys still agree with it.
  10. You can have my new service manager if Captain America doesn't work out for ya!
  11. There are some optomistic people in this world.
  12. There is a new diesel service schedule course in the training section that managers and service advisors must take by the end of this month. I think it touches onthis subject.
  13. I was quoting a classic Seinfeld episode.
  14. Quote: The forum Nazi must be gay..... Not that there's anything wrong with that.
  15. A Vermont plate won't be a problem, where do I send it?
  16. I found an easy way to set the third member assy in the housing without messing up your gasket maker. Take a couple of old 6.0L head bolts, lop the heads off and thread them into the housing, as they are the same size. This will provide you with some nice dowl pins. I actually did my last one on the lift with the truck in the air. I used the cherry picker and a chain and lifted up to the rear end housing and let it slide down the dowels I made, into place with ease.
  17. South Carolina is a toughy for you educated folks also.
  18. We ran across our first delete a couple of days ago. The guy took baby steps though and it looked like this...... As soon as he put this on the mil came on with p2002. The dealer sent him packing. He came back with full on delete, straight piped from the down pipe to the rear bumper. Mil light on again with lousy fuel mileage and the clutch burned out of it. This situation is an interesting one to follow.
  19. Seen it quite a few times before. It's a common trick when isolating a wiring concern on these newer Super Dutys. The only problem is the guy working on it can forget to switch the wires back at the module when done.
  20. I was asking about the DPF delete in Dwaynes bay.
