i think ford will probably kick the powerstroke name to the wayside to save some skin just like the old firestone fiasco

i've seen it , it usually blows out the cap or leaks out through the egr cooler, there's a tsb, but i can't access it right now , on how to test for the leak, lift just the back end of the truck up, remove the egr valve , put pressure to the cooling system, if you see coolant pooling in the egr passages it's the cooler leaking...... if it isn't leking there it's probably head gaskets

Tell me about it, we used to be level one, but this last year killed us and sent us to level two detention and now we have to do prior approval on certain modules as well as engines and trannys. Looks like ford is trying to really put the screws to warranty claims. Looks lie we'll probably get audited this year. Lucky us!! All ford wants is some money back, because even if we cross all our t's and dot our i's they'll still find some reason to fine us or charge back a claim. ford warranty sucks.
