  1. Theres 2 waterpumps for 6.0? I have 4c3z-8501-ac, anyone know the other? Thanks
  2. Now its working fine and i don't know what happened.
  3. Working on an 04 freestar check engine lt. p0133 02 sensor switching too slowly and p2195 o2 stuck lean bank 1 sensor 1. Spray carb foam in intake and the sensor stuck on 0 v bank 2 goes to .9v. The sensor was swapped also. This pcm was replaced like 2 or 3 times already. I don't believe the tsb for the cowl was done though. Working until 9pm today instead of 1am. I'm back on Sunday for the 7-4am shift.
  4. When i started my shift the other day i found one on the ids, when i plugged the vcm into it there was a message"usb device not recognized" .
  5. Daily situation in a Brooklyn or Queens dealer. I once had a 05 f150 5.4l in my stall(dealer closed down after 1 1/2 year). The engine was siezed. I removed the oil pan to find a twisted connecting rod-yes twisted that prevented the crankshaft from fully turning. The service manager was not around at the time and the idiot parts manager who was assumiming the role of the service manager insisted that i remove the piston from the bottom without removing the cylinderhead-yes i shit you not. After playing through the whole sharade he the then came to the realization that it can't be done. I then removed the engine-was'nt easy by removing the connecting rod from the crankshaft freed the twisted piston up a bit to give me just enough movement to get the converter nuts off. After removing the cyl. head there wasd a deep enough gouge in that cyl wall to warrenty an engine. But anyway this was just one too many assenined situation i had to deal with when working flat rate, just too much extra bullshit. And thats not to mention svc. writers and such wanting there palms greased. Sorry for the rant but your post sparked some memories.
  6. I hate pulling engines on e-series. We got about 60 or so of the above picture in our fleet. I would like to know the exact process for pulling the body on a mod.
  7. I took a front cover out of the box and found cavitation in the oilpump housing, tiny pourus holes all around. Anyone ever see this before?
  8. Last year i recall a similar concern with one of our buses, overdrive light would flash intermitantly and the abs light would come on and it would shift like shit. You let it sit for twenty minutes or so and drive it and it would be fine for 5 to 10 miles and act up again. When it acts up the rear dif speed signal became distorted. The rear dif speed signal comes from the oss now, we changed that and it did'nt fix it. ABS module swaped in- no good. PCM/TCM fixed it. Last week an 05 shuttle bus with a torqueshift was doing pretty much the same thing but when it was not displaying the concern eec test will pass. When the concern was present 700 and 714 was there. A new valvebody and internal harness repaired the intermittant concern.
  9. Any of you guys ever listen to Michael Savage?? Anyway just before i got home to read these posts i stoped at the local grocery store to pick up a few items-with the MONEY I EARN-scars to prove it. I see a grocery ile with nobody on line exept for a bunch of groceries on the conveyor. So i proceed to the cahier on that line and she started to ring up my FEW items. Just as i wip out my wallet to pick out the cash theres a woman in back of me with her foodstamp benefit card out in the cashier's face. I then joke to the cashier-Is she going to pay for my groceries? The cashier laughed-the woman with the foodstamp card responded in an angry russian accent-No, i want to PAY for mine. I then responded to the angry impatient lady-You stepped off of the line. She then stormed out of the store faster than a jumpingjack-before i got a chance to respond back to her-I was gonna say:Lady, if you can wait two seconds I'll pay for yours.
  10. Seems like these o8 6.0s are having lots of issues and at low millage. Seems like all of our 08s are lining up for front cover gaskets-all leaking above the ps pump and it's not the cam sensor and all at 10-20k. Also oil pressure switches are leaking on the 08s as well.
  11. Definitly does, now that i think about it i didn't replace the compressor-not that it really matters anyway but im going to check the compressor. Thanks.
  12. Oh shoot i knew i forgot something, the alternators were also replaced on the fr. cover job also. But ok that sounds interesting, a problem with the lower alternator bracket.
  13. Thanks. We replace alot of tensioners and only this lance exibited this. Btw the engine was out last august for rocker arm carier gaskets and i think the bedplate was resealed whet it was out.
  14. Mine is worn exactly just like that. Every time i remove a turbo i make it a point to split it open and this was my first worn one, maybe its cuase i mostly work on e series.
  15. 04 E350 van. Came in with a blown egr cooler, i replaced the oil cooler also-original. I opened the turbo to have a look to find the hole on the unison ring very worn. The vgt cam lever was very coked. This was my first bad ring. Anyone else have to change these?
  16. 05 e350 Ambulance mod. Third belt tensioner in two months. The first time one of the tensioner pulley bearings siezed up 3 weeks after an ac compressor replacement. Also at that time the front cover gasket was replaced. I changed all the pulleys and tensioners, fanclutch, belts and waterpump and ps pump well. The vacuum pump stayed as well as the crank pulley. The belt sits straight on the pulleys. Now a month later it comes in on the hook, pop the hood and take a look to find the main belt sitting loose on the pulleys. I hoist it up and see the primary tensioner pushed to the loose position almost a half inch passed the unload stop set lever. The belt appeared to be fine. I replaced the tensioner, gave it a good run with everything loaded, i let it sit and idle for a while-everything good.... Yesterday it came back in with the exact same concern. One of the am shift techs replaced the tensioner. When i arived i ripped it apart, inspected all the pulleys- all ok. The belt was fine as well. I replaced the primary belt and gave it a good run, no strange noises or anything. I just hope this is the last time i will see this lance for this concern. This lance does alot of idleing from what i understand as compared to others.
  17. Hi, this my first post on this site. I had an 07 e350 box lance about a week ago with pretty much the same concern. Anyway after all diags and tests all 8 injectors and holddowns fixed it. At my shop we see our fair share of 6.0 injectors. Our fleet is mostly eseries, some duramax vans and 2 fseries-which to me is like a vacation compared to the econoline-when it comes to doing injectors that is.
