  4. Hi all. I havent been on here in a minute. Got a 2017 f550 with 4k, p207f. DEF not contaminated. All seems ok. Any thoughts?
  5. Im on the coast in SC, love it down here. The fishing is gteat, I caught 12 sandsharks in like 3 hours, also pulled a pretty large stingray half out of the water but it managed to flap its way back under and almost pulled me under the pier and took my hook with it. Seems like a great place to retire down here, not sure. about the economy in the non tourist areas. Im waiting out the storm now, windsblowing pretty strong and im right on the water, hopefully its safe to travel tomorow becuase im checking out.
  6. Fuel trims stay pegged negative and dont move on bank2 -i believe it was. I think the engine jumped time. I couldnt drive it-no plates.
  7. Is there a suction throttle valve at the evaporator core or somthing that looks like an H valve used on chrysler stuff? Try whacking it with a hammet and see if the temp drops a little.

  9. I have autoenginuity, it goes in but half the screen stays low. I am not happy with a i's version of powerballance sincre Ive had 6 .0 misfires that wont even show on the graph. Yeah there is no real substitute for ids.
  10. In runs well, just a tiny shake at idle. And no engine noise.
  11. This is my first time seeing this code on a 4.6. Any other issues causing this, pcm, harness issue, alternator? Thanks.

  13. 02 f550 7.3 for very intermittant loss of power and stalls out when hot and hard starts at times. 03 f350 wrecker 6.0 for crank no start that the guy wants fixed yesterday so i told him to tow it away. 05 Saturn View with the honda v6 for a timing belt on friday. 09 fusian coming for a tuneup and some services.

  15. I just put studs in the 07 im working on. I did not remove the evaporator box. I remived the left engine mount, with me and an asistant, we held the head up with a chain across the top and i slid the 3 lower studs in-(ones next to the evap box) held together with rubber bands and down on to the dowels. For the lower stud in bank 2 i pulled the trans miunt out to get clearance. Now im still waiting for the owner to get me a few more parts-suposedly on order. This is the last time i let people supply there own parts.

  17. Yeah thats right about the oilpressure. But should it spin 360 like that, i thought i should stop in either direction. All the other turbos i had apart, i never recall the lever spinning around in a complete circle like that.
  18. I took apart a turbo for my freind's 03 f450. It was coked and the unison ring was stuck. When i took it off you can see marks like the vanes have been sitting in place for a while. And complains it had no power for the longest time. The cam lever spins in a complete circle without resistance and the solenoid works-i bench tested it. Also the lever didnt move when actuating the vgt solenoid.

  20. Also forgot to add, when i pulled the last head bolt out on each head the heads started to slide off the deck. Yes-The Dowel pins were not present.
