You once could, Aaron... but if you look at the updated SLTS, it now says do not use 8005A with 8575B and vice-versa. I have a few claims hovering around the WA's office with those 2 operations on it being kicked back for over-lap...

So not under the TSB you are supposed to change the thermostats out of the goodness of your heart? The only overlap I see is removal of the upper fan shroud, and MAYBE the upper radiator hose.

It all depends on WHY the site has been blocked. There are four good reasons I can come up with immediately and all are reasonably understandable where a company or corporate IT department is concerned about security or company policy regarding Internet use. Sometimes these changes can occur when new network systems, components or software is installed and or settings are changed. Here are a few possibilities:

 

    [*]A site may be singled out and placed on a block list. This can be for any reason.

    .

    [*]A website may not have been placed on an accepted site list and is being filtered out or blocked as a result.

    .

    [*]A website's URL or I.P. address has been blocked or blacklisted. Many sites like the DTS website are hosted on a shared server. This means hundreds or even thousands of websites share an I.P. address any one of which may be black listed which can affect all of the other websites on that server.

    .

    [*]Your company server or PC's may have content filters on them. The fact that the DTS censor was turned off means that all of you who like to drop "F-bombs" and use other inappropriate language in your posts are possibly triggering these filters.

If the DTS website is blocked in your workplace asking your IT director about the topic might help. I realize that is sometimes not a wise choice or management may frown upon surfing during work hours - even on lunch or coffee breaks. Hey, it is their system right? Lastly, if this is a profanity or content issue related to the foul language displayed in some posts here, I can re-implement the censor and maybe cleanse the database...

Jim have you checked your IE option settings? You may be able to put the DTS as a approved site. I had this problem when I upgraded my security on my PC due to the younguns gettin on some bad sites(porn ETC.) I had to actually list the sites I would have the PC approve.

Now... here's a good reason for DTS to be at the workplace... Somehow I missed the broadcast message and was told that we didn't need prior approval for the 3 injectors we did last week... I thenk the Fonz would say "Fuckin' AAAAAA".

We're blocked from alot of stuff at work, you tube, facebook, stuff like that. Managment swears they dont have anything blocked, but we know better. They also have a tracking program, so the know what we are doing. We had a problem apparantly with someones surfing habits, so they made us sign a form that we are not to use shop computers for anything other than inford, and that they will use our password for any sites used at work to check up on what were doing...so i dont log on to dts at work, or anything else for that matter.

shit I got dts up all day long

 

Brad I do too. I have helped quite a few good accounts not to mention my own shop being online. Needless to say my access is never questioned because I am always doing work and a few other well deserved connections at the same time and helping at my shop as well.

My work requires me being online everyday and every night I get inquiries from all over the world and respond the same day, even on the weekends or nights,( sorry gluton for punishment ).
