  1. You'd think it wouldn't run if the exhaust was that plugged... You've got yourself a head scratcher there, I think.
  2. How do you wreck the cover? Putting the turbo on with the big 20lb swing press?
  3. Hey has anyone noticed, in the shop manual, where it says not to modify that fuel pressure tester, it makes special mention to not modify the 3 feet of black rubber hose? I dont know about you fellows, but I don't have 3 feet of rubber hose after the 22ft of clear hose.
  4. My pop's car did this, his is a 24v. Kicked my ass for a little bit, the hose had sucked itself flat and the leak was on the back side of the hose, so it was not visible, and I don't bring the smoke machine home from work, typically
  5. Mine also requires a fan shroud, all the turbo mounting hardware, all the exhaust clamps as they've been tightened down with a 3/4" impact and pulled through themselves... Not to mention this thing either has a cracked head or it's so warped you could fit my sandwich between the straight edge and the head surface. As soon as you fill the degas bottle with water, cylinders 2 and 4 fill with water also.
  6. What specifically do you need? Front/Rear crank seal installers, IPR socket are a must. And what do you already have? Funny socket for a early build ICP, or the crow's foot socket...
  7. Someone's been in butchering things to death. I need the part number for the little dealy that goes over top of the turbocharger that holds the wiring harness -- we had it on here awhile back, but I can't seem to find it. Thanks in advance fellows! (This truck fills the LH cylinders with water, as well as the exhaust manifold, as fast as you can pour it in.) Gear clamp as a CAC tube clamp. I think it needs a rad cap. This looks expensive...
  8. Last one I changed came all as one unit, pre-bled and filled, ready to rock. (F-250)
  9. Where can you even GET high sulfur fuel anymore?
  10. EIGHT HUNDRED DOLLARS A DAY?! Where do I sign up?!
  11. Never said it was right. Both systems have their high points and both have their flaws. How long do you need to wait for a doctor's appointment? I'm typically a month wait to get a doctor's appointment. Any specialized treatments are 3 months or more.
  12. That's the main gripe I have with that clown. He skews the entire portrayal of the situation he's addressing to the direction he wants everyone to follow along with. Anyone ever seen Bowling for Columbine? He walks into a bank that says if you open a checking account, they will give you a free gun. He walks into the bank, signs up for his account, and walks out with his gun. I've seen it brought up that he actually called the bank and made special arrangements to get his gun on site, since they typically give you a VOUCHER for a gun, not an actual gun in person at the bank. I watched that whole movie, and he didn't even come anywhere close to making some kind of point. And yes, I would consider paying for healthcare -- I waited almost three months for an MRI, and the last time I was over in Michigan, there's a place just off of Dearborn ave, almost like a walk in clinic, that does MRI's the same day. I still haven't got a call back about repairing my back yet. Sorry if I pissed anyone off, but I think if you're going to show a story....show both sides!
  13. Cool, looks like a good read! And in trade, I offer you this: Highway Traffic Act -- Regulation 611, Ontario. Our Ontario inspection guidelines.
  14. So we're sittin here watchin the TV. Michael (JACK-FUCKING-ASS) Moore movie Sicko is on. They FILM a woman committing HEALTH FRAUD applying for an Ontario Health Insurance Plan card, in Windsor, when she is a Michigan resident, and has NO ties to Canada, aside from the dude she knows that lives in Windsor, that she LIED and said she was the common law spouse of. Really? You do something like that, and film it? Good idea. So if I roll over to Michigan, and say my buddy's sister is my common law wife (with NO proof, aside from me telling someone), should I be eligible to apply for a driver's license or any other state provided services? How about welfare? Should I be able to get that? I understand she was sick and unable to afford medical care, but come the fuck on. If you're going to commit FRAUD to get medical attention, don't let some JACKASS like Moore film you doing it, so he can slant the fucking thing any way he likes and make you look either like a hero or a zero, depending on what kinda mood he's in. Sorry for the rant, it just pissed me off. I understand your (US) healthcare isn't free, and can be quite pricey, and I respect that. I can't STAND that guy. Sorry that he's Canadian.
  15. You ain't kidding! This damn thing is oiled underneath from the front to the back down the driver's side!
  16. And Clifford does some REALLY neat stuff, I read a bunch of articles a while back about the stuff they are doing with the slant six, it was VERY impressive. In a mid-weight car, it ran in the bottom 13's, on pump gasoline. Only thing with Clifford's stuff is kinda pricey, but from what I understand it's pretty worth it.
  17. Cam in the 355 is a 254/260 dur @ .050 I'm keeping it on the motor, it's more fun that way.
  18. Happppppy new year! Waiting on a fucking TOW in to show up.
  19. Little on the edge of compression, don't you think?
