  1. I would have thought the rear main seal would be included too? It's always a losing situation when one of those rolls in the door.
  2. Don't give up now Larry, this just means you have to choose a new user name and start railing him all over. It's not like Rex is smart enough to figure it out.
  3. Nice! You should post it on his site. These things get him really worked up
  4. I like them. My brother bought one on my advise and loves it. We haven't really seen any problems with them yet, usually they just come in for maintenance.
  5. Usually if the Egr cooler is leaking you will notice excessive white smoke from the exhaust and/or coolant dripping from the muffler. Sometimes they have such a slight leak that these concerns aren't obvious and can only be found with a failed vacuum test with a radkit. Follow the coolant loss tsb and do the radkit test cold AND HOT as sometimes they only leak hot. If it the cooling system wont hold 20 inches of vacuum for 15 min, then do the off vehicle pressure test. You may have to simultaneously heat it with a propane torch to make the leak occur. If you need to do the off vehicle test make sure you first do a road test to monitor the ect and eot pids as you may also need an oil cooler. The tsb has a nice flow chart for all of this.
  6. Alright boys here's the plan: Aaron, you bring the shit, I'll ring the doorbell, Jim can run the camera, and MChan will light it. Then we'll run toward EastEnd who will be ready in the get away car. Dwayne can throw diagnostic dice at Rex through the sunroof while he's scraping off his boots. Click here to see how it's done
  7. I know what will make you feel better. Adopt that new avatar that Eastend created a few posts up as your own.
  8. Well, Rex finally responded to the animation with one of his own. Now the rest of you guys can see what we're dealing with over at Autotrend. Obviously it's time for more Mafia members to take the gloves off and slap this bitch YO. ~he didn't even remember my hat feather or golden pimp cane
  9. yup, still waiting for his response
  10. No need to stop with mine, this is just the tip of the iceberg. I can imagine several of these things. Maybe someone can make one with Rex debating Pogo - unsuccessfully as always
  11. I Can't wait to see what great response he'll have for this one, he must be running out of "classy" remarks and pictures by now.
  12. These are easy and fun to make - Check this out.
  13. OOOOOH PowerStroker Likes!!!! But I've already got an avatar there. Jim and Aaron don't though
  14. Sounds like they should have used AMERICAN STEEL. Serves em right
  15. It works with XP Tablet edition too.
  16. do the modified "baloon" test by jumping the starter to crank it with the key off and secondary fuel filter cap and filter removed. If it bubbles from the standpipe you can take the lines off at the filter housing one at a time to isolate which bank. The last one I did failed the test miserably and got all 8 injectors. If this is what you find, make sure you correct the fuel pressure issues before returning it to the customer otherwise you'll be doing it all over again next week.
  17. I am the mighty PowerStroker. Yeah that Captain Obvious one was a real gem wasn't it. I'm still chuckling about it.
  18. maybe we should take and upload some fresh pictures of us at work holding signs that identify our aliases on his site, and make fun of Rex by name. Then he can have no doubt. Of course he'll just move such a thread to the v8 cafe where only a select few people can see it... but at least he'll know the truth.
  19. Well, it's been getting so interesting over there that I couldn't resist F&^king with him too. For clarity purposes, my alias there is "PowerStroker" Not that it matters to Rex though, he thinks all of us are the same person using several names
  20. By my math, it looks like 9,980 vin's recalled, and it appearers the average number of injectors for this recall is about 6 per vehicle. It's been a long time since I've done a 6.4 injector, but I think each was around $400... though Ford's cost is probably significantly less. It will be interesting to see what my Ford stock is worth tomorrow. I sure hope Naivistar is paying for this
  21. Couldn't you set the head on the block, and then thread the studs in???
  22. Pretty slow here, no shortage of shit work that doesn't pay anything though.
  23. But Gary, wasn't it the 30 years of supply side economics that set these events in motion in the first place. Supply side policies and the general deregulation that was put forward by many of the same people who like to deregulate gun laws??? Just thinking out loud here, but then I may not be thinking entirely clearly being how excited I am that my Milt Sparks holster finally showed up that I've been waiting 6 months for. ~Token Liberal
  24. OMG, I just got done reading all of his threads. If I hear ICPR or IPRS (or other variations) again I'm going to pull my hair out. What a piece of work this guy is. I don't even understand his motives for posting... Perhaps he thinks he's doing everyone a public service by posting photos and stories of all the stupid things he learns the hard way (which is everything). Kudos to the guys here who have been screwing with him Hey Keith - PLEEEEEEASE, can you invite him... We need a whipping boy!!!
