I'll look in mine later, but I believe on that one you will need a different steering wheel. I'm not 100% aboutif the clock springs are the same either.
I did it on my 97. I had to put the steering wheel switches in and I made a jumper for the deactivation switch instead of buying the new master cylinder and the switch. The connector for the deac switch was there.
It's never a good feeling when a 6.0 is starting to suck air cause it's almost out of fuel. It's even worse when it's your own truck and you are 5 miles away from the nearest fuel station.
Not exactly. If you have more change then you are starting to get blow-by. If my memory serves me right there is only one tube hooked to the valve cover. These engines do not have a positive crankcase ventilation system. Even the one Escape I had with crankcase vent codes didn't have that large of a difference between koeo and koer.
Cheap people irritate me. Found this in the trailer tow power fuse on my dually this morning.
And it was popped. Or at least it wasn't feeding power to my trailer.
How cold was it in your part of MN? I had 22 below Fahrenheit. No gelled trucks brought in but plenty of phone calls to advisors asking about why it would say low fuel pressure on my dash
Cause it's low. Duh.
We only had 10 or 12 below over here.
Dammit you beat me to it. From what my local fse told me a few months ago it is supposed to replace the vcm 2. I'm not in agreement with that idea with that kind of a price tag.
Not exactly true. The air leak will echo through the block and come up through the drain valve and sound like it's a junk pump. I've seen it on a couple of trucks now. If you push the drain valve down it goes away.
