  1. If I can find an email I might send them a message, If they have it and will ship this guy will go for it. I can get a Dorman one but...
  2. I am looking for a 2L1Z-9431-DA Left exhaust manifold & 2L1Z-6038-AA Right motor mount. I have exhausted all my resources anybody got any other ideas? We also sent a request to Ford they replied something like....We can not supply any parts info for a 15 year old vehicle
  3. I don't have a 2016 Vin handy so I looked up a 2013 that I work on but I didn't see a bolt kit for the front spring mount. I did see bolts & nuts listed for the rear what about using those?
  4. No experience in collision but here is what Ford says 14901.pdf
  5. What a pain...Looks like the WSM has to correct location. In the component location charts section it list's 3 ABS module options. 1 option is for the dash & 2 are for the frame. The location link for the module in the wiring diagram is wrong as you know but it looks like the connector link location is correct. Just think you could be working on a Cargo
  6. Some people have also been known to use copper tubing & one of dimple style battery terminal crimpers that you hit with a hammer. Finish up with solder & heat shrink

  8. It is unnerving using a impact gun to get the corroded rear wiper pivot nut loose on an Expedition
  9. 2011 6.7L Someone else changed EGT 14, it also had a whistle noise from the extension pipe leaking/bolts broke. Before...bung partially broke, EGT sensor threads messed up & not seated all the way After... I used GM part# 11570821 for the studs, the knurled part was slightly smaller the OE so they were tack welded in place
  10. I just program a RKE remote, I don't remember if I did the key cycle method or did it with the IDS. I wonder what would happen if you reprogram the BCM with the as-built data?
  11. All - & + wires to the encoder motor & TCCM checked by load test or voltage drop? Inspect the wire @ left fender well.
  12. 2010 Traverse engine knocking...using my new lift table
  13. Cummins isn't the problem...it's the fact that it is hitched to a Chrysler product I think it's always helpful to learn something new, so go for that...now working on FCA under warranty and trying to turn a profit is possibly a skill in it's self. A good parts guy for starters then all the stuff Keith mentioned....Thier scan tool is pretty nice. It would also seem that Cummins has their specs & info, then FCA will come out with thier own rules???
  14. Not even a P1000? Aftermarket tune? Did you try a reflash? What are the EGT sensors doing?
  15. I can't find much info.. FCA does not for some reason find that part # there for will not give me the years it fits. I did come up with the EC4Z-14B205-BRM also being a MFM17RM
  16. New # FOTZ9324F or KFL84 What I have is the old # E3TZ-9324-A
  17. What about sticking the GEM in a F-350 & flashing it with newer as built data?
  18. Is the tailpipe sooty? Make sure the adaptation tables are cleared. Fuel sample & additive info. What about idle info.
  19. Lots of good info here http://www.forddoctorsdts.com/topic/5477-1993-73-idi/?hl=hose I can get you the hose part# tomorrow if your parts guy can't find it.
  20. GM SI has a very good search engine. Did you replace the module 23190708? If so it have to be set up with SPS & perform calibration? Does the lift gate work with the fob? I did a switch on the one I worked on 15106857
  21. You would think there would be a printed warning about this. I looked and I didn't find one. On the 3.5L it does have the same warning as the 2.0L. I guess by default when the WSM says to rotate the crankshaft clockwise... I do remember Chrysler trainer telling a story of smoke checking the exhaust...I guess shop air in the tailpipe was enough to rotate the engine backwards & jump the timing chain This is what I did on a 2.3L so I would not be tempted to...
  22. I'm pretty sure I fixed one of these a couple years ago. I'll look at my notes tomorrow when I get to the shop until then can you send me the VIN number.
  23. Prep the customer for sure on the fact that FoMoCo has certain warranty terms..eg they will not cover installation errors ect. Or your HPFP warranty will only cover manufacturer defects. You already document all your stuff so present your findings whatever they are in a diplomatic way and.. Since you are a teacher this could be a teaching moment Couldn't a circuit or control valve fault be proven with a DSO and amp clamp without any exploratory surgery?
