Hey guy's, have run in to quite a few turbo failures after replacing. After some investigation into this, We came up with a problem that you may see bearing failure being caused by some techs slapping a turbo on and not changing the oil or starting it up without prelubing them. When we tore the turbos down the bearings were burnt to a crisp and the oil was very gritty. Has anyone else seen repeat failures?

Not a lot of Duramax problems with the turbos, as for Cummins we have been seeing alot of the ISX and ISM turbo failures, not much on the ISB'S yet. See alot of Series 60 failures, and starting to see more of the Mercedes too. And of course Ford/IH go without saying....

Is this a actual Ford ESP, or is it a A/M service contract.

The farther out of the big city the better, thats what I did and I don't ever look back, especially because I'm close but not too close. In Irish Hills Michigan and 6 miles from MIS how much better can it get. By the way I have 64.3 miles each way from work. Deer in the back yard and fish in the front...need I say more.
